(A) The Council may enter into agreements or contracts to furnish Fire Department services outside the city or enter into mutual and automatic aid agreements, and the Fire Department is authorized to render Fire Department services pursuant to the terms of the agreements or contracts.
(B) The city shall collect the cost of any Fire Department services rendered outside the city, for special events and to areas not covered by a contractual agreement for Fire Department services. The cost for these services shall be determined by the Fire Chief using the current local standard rates as a minimum basis and as approved through the budget process.
