§ 91.040 ANIMALS; TRANSIENT OWNERS.
   The provisions of this chapter shall not apply to any animal belonging to any person or a sojourn or for bench or show purposes in the municipality or for other purposes; provided the animal remains near its owner or keeper, his or her motor vehicle, and complies with the requirements of this chapter.
