§ 153.17 MOBILE HOME AND TRAILER LOCATIONS; EXCEPTIONS AUTHORIZED BY SPECIAL USE PERMIT.
   (A)   Notwithstanding otherwise written, mobile homes and trailers for residential dwelling purposes may be permitted outside of a licensed trailer camp by conditional or special use permit in those areas of the municipality or within its zoning jurisdiction that are now or hereafter are zoned within its zoning jurisdiction that are now or hereafter are zoned Residential-2 or Residential-3.
   (B)   Before a mobile home or trailer may be placed or located on any lot or parcel of land outside of a licensed trailer camp, as authorized above, the proponent or applicant therefor shall make application for a conditional or special use permit and the application and procedure with respect to the granting of such shall be as provided in the Municipal Code of the village. Any conditional or special use permit shall be issued for a period of two years and upon expiration thereof the same may only be extended or renewed for like periods of time upon application therefor by the owner of the real property involved and said conditional or special use permit may be issued only after following the procedures provided for its original issuance.
   (C)   All mobile homes or trailers placed outside of a licensed trailer camp pursuant to said conditional or special use permits as authorized in this chapter shall be placed upon permanent footings or foundations constructed pursuant to the Village Building Code.
