§ 91.002 LIMIT ON NUMBER.
   No owner or keeper of any dogs shall keep, harbor, or maintain in, about, or upon the premises occupied by such owner as his or her residence more than three dogs at any one time. The offspring of any dog shall not count toward the maximum number of dogs allowed for a period of four months after the birth of said offspring. However, only one exempt litter of dogs may be kept on the premises at any one time. For the purposes of this chapter, the OWNER or KEEPER shall include the head of the family and all family members and guests, it being intended to limit the total number of dogs to three per household or premises.
