§ 110.18  INVESTIGATION; LICENSE ISSUANCE.
   (A)   Upon receipt of an application, the Clerk-Treasurer shall refer the original copy of the application to the Town Marshal, who shall cause investigation of the applicant’s business responsibility and moral character to be made as he or she deems necessary for the protection of the public.
   (B)   If the applicant’s character and business responsibility are found to be unsatisfactory, the Town Marshal shall endorse his or her disapproval and reasons on the application and return it to the Clerk-Treasurer.  The Clerk-Treasurer shall notify the applicant that the application has been disapproved and that no license will be issued.
   (C)   (1)   If the applicant’s character and business responsibility are found to be satisfactory, the Town Marshal shall endorse his or her approval on the application and return the application to the Clerk-Treasurer. 
      (2)   Upon payment of the prescribed license fee by an applicant whose application has been approved, the Clerk-Treasurer shall issue the appropriate license and deliver it to the applicant.
   (D)   The license shall contain the following:
      (1)   The name, address, and photograph of the licensee;
      (2)   The class of license issued;
      (3)   The kind of products, goods, wares, or merchandise to be sold under the license;
      (4)   The expiration date of the license; and
      (5)   The signature of the Clerk-Treasurer.
