The Town Council shall have final approval of the employee’s pay increase based on education. This is not to say an employee may not seek the additional training on their own, but the training will not guarantee an automatic pay increase with the exception of those certifications listed under the minimum training requirements, all employees will be eligible as set forth in the sections listed above (Indiana Codes) to receive $250 for each advance certification. If a pay increase is approved by the Town Council, the increase will start with the next fiscal year budget.
