(A) Members of the Fire Department considered full-time are either scheduled to work a 24/48 schedule or eight hours a day for 40 hours a week. Employees who work 24/48 shall be on duty 24 hours and off duty for 48 hours. Forty hour a week employees shall work eight hours a day, Monday through Friday. Regular part-time with benefits are scheduled to work varying shifts of eight, 12 or 24 hours but less than 49 hours per week.
(B) Regular part-time employees shall work a minimum of 24 hours per month or an equivalent of an average of 24 hours per month over a 3-month period starting with January 1 of the current year. Regular part-time employees who fail to meet the minimum hourly requirement will be subject to disciplinary measures as outlined in § 36.208 of this code.
