§ 36.124  LONGEVITY PAY.
   (A)   Each regular full-time employee shall receive a longevity payment, commencing on the first year anniversary date of hire of continuous uninterrupted employment.  Payments will occur only once a year.  This payment is contingent upon the employee having received a favorable evaluation in the year that the payment is to be made.  Any employee on disciplinary probation on the anniversary date will not be eligible for the longevity payment, unless the employee files a written request with the employee’s supervisor requesting a hearing with the supervisor and the Town Manager to discuss this issue.  If the supervisor and the Town Manager concur that the longevity payment should be made, they shall submit a finding in writing to the Council, who will then vote on that finding at the next Council meeting.
   (B)   Longevity payments shall be made as follows:
      (1)   Full time employees shall receive $100 in longevity pay after the employee has completed one year of employment, and shall receive an additional $100 for each additional full year of continuous uninterrupted employment, with payments capped at 20 years of employment with the town.
      (2)   Longevity pay will be paid with the first pay in November of each year.
      (3)   Longevity pay will be added to the current year's pay of the full time employees for the purpose of calculating overtime.
