(A) General. All overtime must be approved in advance by the employee’s supervisor.
(B) Utilities, Street Department and office staff. Any authorized work in excess of eight hours in a payroll day or in excess of 40 hours in a payroll week shall be compensated at a rate of one and one-half times the regular rate, except where expressly agreed otherwise. Sundays will be paid at the rate of two times the normal rate of pay.
(1) For the purpose of overtime compensation, overtime will be defined as work outside the employee’s normal scheduled workday. All overtime must be authorized by a responsible supervisor.
(2) Employees will be paid a minimum of two hours for after hours call outs.
(3) Part-time employees who work in excess of eight hours in a payroll day shall be compensated at a rate of one and one- half times the regular rate except where expressly agreed otherwise.
