§ 33.82  FEES FOR THE USE OF CREDIT CARDS AND ELECTRONIC FUNDS TRANSFERS.
   (A)   For the purpose of this section the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
      CREDIT CARD.  A credit card, debit card, charge card or stored value card.
      ELECTRONIC FUNDS TRANSFER.  Any transfer of funds, other than a transaction initiated by a check, draft, or similar paper instrument, that is initiated through an electronic terminal, telephone, or computer or magnetic tape for the purpose of ordering, instructing, or authorizing a financial institution to debit or credit an account.
   (B)   The town collect the following minimum convenience fees from individuals who elect to make payments to the town by credit card or electronic funds transfer:
      (1)   For credit cards, a percentage fee of 3% on the transaction, with a minimum fee of $2.
      (2)   For electronic funds transfers, a flat fee of $1.50.
