(A) Copies of public records shall be provided according to the following schedule of uniform copying fees:
(1) Standard size documents (8-1/2 x 11, 8-1/2 x 14 or 11 x 15 computer paper) - $0.10 per printed side.
(2) Facsimile transmissions - $0.25 per copy.
(3) Copies of audiotapes of hearing or other public meetings - $2.00 per tape.
(B) An additional charge of $0.10 shall be added for certification of documents.
(C) If copies are returned by mail, an additional charge for postage incurred shall be added.
(D) Nothing in this section shall be construed to require Ellettsville to charge a fee for public service announcements and information of general interest.
(E) Exceptions: This section does not affect fees which are set by state law. No office or department of the town shall charge copying fees to another office or department of the town.
(F) The monies collected shall be accounted for in detail and deposited as a miscellaneous receipt in the fund which provides the funds for the operation of the copy machine and the department’s personnel.
