§ 72.03  TEMPORARY VISITOR PARKING PERMIT.
   (A)   A person desiring to be entitled to visitor’s parking shall contact the Town Marshal or his or her agent, who shall have absolute discretion as to whether or not that visitor parking should be permitted.  Visitor’s parking will not be permitted for longer than 48 hours.  If additional time is required, the individual must contact the Town Marshal for an extension.  An extension shall only be for a period of 48 hours.  The Town Marshal may grant more than one extension.
   (B)   The Town Marshal or his or her staff shall log every request for parking and whether or not the request was granted.  The log book shall also specify the location where visitor’s parking was permitted.  In determining whether or not to grant a permit, the Town Marshal shall keep in mind the physical layout of the street, whether or not additional parking has been permitted currently in that area, and any other factor bearing upon the smooth flow of traffic and the health and safety of the residents of the area in considering whether or not to grant a visitor’s permit.
