§ 36.061 SAFETY-SENSITIVE FUNCTION; DEFINITION.
   A SAFETY-SENSITIVE FUNCTION is all time spent either waiting to be dispatched; inspecting equipment or otherwise inspecting, servicing and/or conditioning any town-owned motor vehicle or equipment; driving or being in or upon a town-owned vehicle or equipment; loading or unloading a town-owned vehicle or equipment; supervising or assisting in the loading or unloading of a town-owned vehicle or equipment; attending a town-owned vehicle or equipment being loaded or unloaded; remaining in readiness to operate a town-owned vehicle or equipment; or giving or receiving receipts for shipments loaded or unloaded; performing accident-related duties; or repairing, obtaining assistance, or remaining in attendance upon a disabled vehicle.  Any town employee who is on call to perform safety-sensitive functions may be tested at any time they are on call or ready to be dispatched while on duty.
