Any person who violates any of the provisions of this subchapter or fails to comply herewith, or who violates or fails to comply with any order made hereunder, is severally for each and every violation and noncompliance, respectively, subject to a penalty in an amount not to exceed $100 per day. The imposition of one penalty for any violation shall not excuse the violation or permit it to continue; and all such persons shall be required to correct or remedy such violations or defects within a reasonable time; and, when not otherwise specified, each day that prohibited conditions are maintained shall constitute a separate offense. In addition, the Town Director of Planning Services shall have the authority to withhold issuance of new permits when an applicant is not in compliance with any previous permit issued hereunder.
