Members of the Police Department considered full-time shall work a schedule consisting of six shifts on duty and three days off. Each shift shall be eight hours and 15 minutes in length and include a 30-minute paid lunch period; however, the Town Marshal, Chief Deputy, and Sergeants shift shall include a one-hour paid lunch period. Police Department employees will not work over 12 continuous hours for the town, except in the case of an emergency.
