A. At the first meeting in February, the planning commission shall elect from its membership a chairperson who shall serve for a term of one year. It shall be the duty of the chairperson to preside over and conduct all meetings of the planning commission. The chairperson, with the consent of the planning commission, shall make such assignments and delegations to the members of the commission and the staff and consultants as are deemed necessary or desirable for the carrying out of the commission's business.
B. The commission may adopt rules for its own organization and for the transaction of its business not in conflict with this chapter or other relevant ordinances, and shall keep an accurate record of the disposition of all matters coming before it. (Ord. 99-11-9-12, 11-9-1999, eff. 4-4-2000)
