Any violation of the provisions of this chapter is punishable as a class C misdemeanor and, upon conviction, subject to penalty as provided in section 1-4-1 of this code. Each person, firm or corporation found guilty of such violation shall be deemed guilty of a separate offense for every day during which any violation is committed, continued or permitted by such person, persons, firm or corporation, and shall be punished as provided in this chapter.
