4-6-4: PROHIBITED ACTS AND ACTIVITIES:
   A.   Discharge: It shall be a class B misdemeanor, subject to penalty as provided in section 1-4-1 of this code, to discharge fireworks:
      1.   In such a manner that the fireworks project over or into the property of another person without the consent of the person owning or controlling such property; or
      2.   In any open field which contains dry, grassy material; or
      3.   From or into any motor vehicle or at or near any person.
   B.   Homemade Fireworks: It shall be a class B misdemeanor, subject to penalty as provided in section 1-4-1 of this code, to make, sell or offer to sell or to discharge any type of homemade fireworks.
   C.   Sales: It shall be a class B misdemeanor, subject to penalty as provided in section 1-4-1 of this code, to sell or to offer to sell fireworks:
      1.   Without a permit;
      2.   In violation of any requirements of this chapter or any regulation adopted by the Utah state fire prevention board. (Ord. 95-6-27-4, 6-27-1995; amd. 2003 Code)
