A. Completing Reports: Fire reports will be initiated by the officer in charge upon returning from an emergency. The person in charge at the station will not finalize the report but leave it to the person in charge of the fire to finalize and close out. The chief or officer in charge of the fire when all equipment and personnel have returned to the station will finalize the report, sign and secure in file box. Reports will also be made of the training meetings and will include the material covered and the personnel present. Reports must be accurate and correct to correspond with pay and training records. B. Approving Reports: Officers in charge at the station or on the fire are the individuals authorized to mark the fire reports. Individuals are not to mark the fire reports on their own. (Ord. 96-5-14-2, 5-14-1996)
