Any person who shall engage in construction, alteration, or repair of any type in violation of this chapter shall be subject to a fine as provided in section 9-1-4G, 4-2A-3 and 4-2B-8: of this code, and in addition, each day or part thereof that the violation shall continue after proper notice of such violation shall be considered a separate distinct violation hereof and be cited as a misdemeanor and fined accordingly. However, nothing herein contained shall be deemed to restrict any right of the City administration to take whatever other action or remedy available and necessary to secure compliance with the terms of this chapter.
