The City Clerk is hereby authorized and empowered to collect the proceeds of this Transient Lodging Tax, together with any and all interest and penalties in connection therewith, and to enforce by all appropriate and lawful means the provisions of this chapter, and to bring suit therefor as well as to proceed by any appropriate criminal action. The City Clerk is also hereby authorized and empowered to collect information related to daily occupancy and average daily rate; however, such information shall be deemed confidential pursuant to Nevada Revised Statutes section 268.490 (records; confidentiality).
