The Stoffer Creek Improvement District is hereby created under and by virtue of the provisions of chapter 271 of the Nevada Revised Statutes. The purpose of the District is to acquire and construct a road project as outlined and delineated by the plans and specifications thereof as prepared by the Department of Planning and Public Works.
(A) The boundaries of the District includes the Lipparelli Estates Subdivision located in Section 30, Township 33 North, Range 57 East, M.D.B. & M., and specifically consists of the area which includes the parcels identified by the following assessor's parcel numbers:

(B) The project includes upgrades to the roads and streets in the improvement district. The project is designed and intended to provide improved access and streets to all parcels in the District.
(C) The total cost of the project has been determined to be forty four thousand seven hundred five dollars ($44,705.00). Each parcel in the project area shall be subject to an annual assessment of one hundred twenty six dollars ninety five cents ($126.95) for a ten (10) year period. The annual assessment will be divided into four (4) installments and will be added to the annual real property tax bills. The installments will be collected by the Elko County Treasurer at the same time as other taxes.
(D) The project is designed and intended to provide street and road access to all parcels within the project area. Should a parcel be divided, each resulting parcel shall be assessed its pro rata share of the total assessment and the remaining parcels' assessments shall be adjusted accordingly.
(E) The project is ordered to be accomplished by independent contract, County resources, or a combination of both, and in accordance with the provisions of chapter 271 of the Nevada Revised Statutes. (Ord. 1995-J, 8-3-1995)
