It is the public policy of Elko County to conserve, protect, enhance and encourage agricultural operations throughout the county. This chapter does not in any way modify other laws, ordinances or regulations relative to nuisances, zoning, and/or the division of land. The intent is to promote a good neighbor policy between ranchers, farmers and residents through education, communication and understanding of good, generally accepted agricultural practices.
