Revisions of the hereinbefore mentioned codes are hereby expressly adopted as they appear in the future except as to amendments and modifications contained in this chapter. Within one hundred twenty (120) days after the receipt by the county building official of a code edition intended by the promulgators (ICC) thereof to replace one of the before mentioned codes, unless said replacement edition is specifically disapproved by the county commission pursuant to this section, the county building official shall:
(A) Post a notice at his office and in the Elko County courthouse that the replacement code is the code governing all matters to which it pertains with regard to any building for which a building permit is thereafter issued until that code itself is replaced pursuant to this chapter.
(B) The building official shall provide each person or entity to which a building permit is thereafter issued with such notice.
With regard to any code intended by its promulgators to replace one of the before mentioned codes, such code shall govern with regard to the subject matter thereof all building pursuant to building permits issued after such notice and posting until that code itself is replaced pursuant to this chapter.
All previous adoptions of editions of the hereinbefore mentioned codes are hereby specifically repealed. (Ord. 05-2005, 9-7-2005, eff. 10-7-2005)
