For the purposes of this Chapter, the following terms, phrases, words and their derivation shall have the meanings given herein.
COUNTY: The unincorporated areas of Elko County.
CUSTODIAN: Any person over the age of eighteen (18) who is in loco parentis to a juvenile.
GUARDIAN: Any person other than a parent, who has legal guardianship of a minor.
MINOR: Any person under the age of eighteen (18).
PARENT: The natural or adoptive parent of a minor.
PUBLIC PLACE: Any street, alley, highway, sidewalk, park, playground or other place to which the public has access. A public place shall include, but not be limited to, a store, shop, restaurant, tavern, bowling alley, cafe, theater, drugstore, poolroom, shopping center or any other place devoted to the amusement or entertainment of the general public. It shall include the front and immediate area surrounding the above. (Ord. 1996-B, 3-20-1996, eff. 4-8-1996)
