7-3-8: PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES ON PRIVATE PROPERTY INVOLVING BAT, SKUNK, RACCOON, FOX OR COYOTE; EXEMPTIONS:

   (A)   Except as otherwise provided in subsection (B):

      1.   A person shall not keep, harbor or in any way care for, maintain, lodge or feed on private property, a bat, skunk, raccoon, fox or coyote.

      2.   Any person violating the provisions of this Section shall, upon request of the Rabies Control Authority and the Nevada Department of Wildlife, relinquish the animal to the Rabies Control Authority or the Department of Wildlife.

   (B)   The Rabies Control Authority with the concurrence of the Nevada Department of Wildlife may grant to any person an exemption from the provisions of this Section. (Ord. 1994-E, 4-7-94, eff. 4-21-94)
