(A) Upon petition of a sufficient number of registered voters within the proposed unincorporated Town of Jarbidge, the Board of Elko County Commissioners finds that it is in the best interests of the residents of the proposed unincorporated Town of Jarbidge to form an unincorporated town to provide certain of those town services listed in NRS 269.575.
(B) Accordingly, the unincorporated Town of Jarbidge is hereby formed to provide for water distribution to the residents of the unincorporated Town, and to comply with State and Federal water quality standards.
(C) The boundaries of the unincorporated Town of Jarbidge shall be the contiguous unincorporated area as shown on the Official Map of Jarbidge Townsite, accepted and approved by Judge Taber as the trustee for the use and benefit of the occupants of the townsite of Jarbidge on August 26, 1920, and filed on November 5, 1921, in the office of the Elko County Recorder as document number 31210.
(D) The Board of Elko County Commissioners has determined that it can best be served by the appointment of a Town Advisory Board consisting of three (3) members. The Citizen's Advisory Council, Jarbidge, Nevada, as it exists by authority of Elko County Code Section 2-1D-1, shall serve as the first Town Advisory Board. Elko County Code Section 2-1D-1 shall be amended and the Citizen's Advisory Council as therein designated shall be hereinafter known and referred to as the Town Advisory Board.
