6-1-10: DUTIES OF POLICE:
The Sheriff, and/or the Chief of Police, or either of them shall have and exercise power to:
   (A)   Make arrests for the violation of any of the provisions of this Chapter;
   (B)   Enter any place of business for which a license is required and provided and demand the exhibition of such license for the current term from any person engaged or employed in the transaction of such business. If such person shall then and there fail to exhibit such license, such person shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be liable for the penalty or penalties provided herein.
It is hereby made the duty of the Sheriff or Chief of Police to cause complaints to be filed against all persons, firms or corporations violating any of the provisions of this Chapter.
