All licenses provided by this Chapter to be procured shall be printed in duplicate in appropriate form, and shall be so printed that on issuance, the trade or profession licensed and the name or names of the party or parties to whom the license is granted, and the time for which the same is granted shall be indicated; and before issuance they shall be signed by the Chairman of the Town Board and countersigned by the Clerk.
The Sheriff shall keep in his office a set of books, to be called the "Town License Register" in which he shall enter the name or names of all parties to whom he issued licenses, the business, trade or profession licensed, the time for which license holds good, the date of its expiration and the amount received therefor; and he shall exhibit such books to the Town Board whenever required to do so.
