4-7-2: AT ALTITUDE-TOPOGRAPHY DISTRICT:
   (A)   Intent: The AT Altitude-Topography Districts are established to provide protection for designated steep mountain slopes and canyons to preserve the scenic and natural attributes from unplanned development that would create irreparable damage to existing natural resources, available water supply, watershed, erosion and pose a threat to irreplaceable minerals, ground cover and wildlife.
   (B)   Permitted Uses: All uses permitted in other districts designated in this Zoning Ordinance shall be permitted in the AT Districts provided that the developer may first be required to obtain a use permit from the Planning Commission for the proposed use. The Elko County Building Inspector, Planning Advisor and County Manager may request such a permit when in their judgment the proposed use and/or improvements are sufficient to constitute a threat to the natural land forms of the mountain slopes and canyon walls.
