(A) Approval of Application: After receiving an initial application, the Sheriff’s Office shall place the application on the next available meeting agenda of the Board, unless impractical. The Board shall review the application, and approve or deny the issuance of a business license for the facility. The Board may deny a license for the following reasons:
1. If the application is incomplete or the applicant failed to disclose, misstated or otherwise misled the Sheriff of the Board in respect to any fact contained within the application.
2. Because applicant did not receive the special use permit required under Elko County code 4-17-2.
3. The Board determines the business is not fiscally responsible.
4. The Board determines that the location of the facility will interfere with the health, safety, or welfare of the public. (Ord. 2023-10, 8-2-2023)
