(A) Any person, officer, or employee may report improper governmental action to any or all of the following:
1. The Director of the Elko County Human Resources Department;
2. The Elko County District Attorney;
3. The Elko County Public Defender; or
4. The Elko County Sheriff's Office.
(B) The report of improper governmental action may be made by phone, email, mail, letter or any other manner that clearly communicates the improper governmental action, and may be made anonymously.
(C) The Director of Human Resources, District Attorney, Public Defender or Elko County Sheriff's Office receiving the report shall insure that the report is investigated. (Ord. 05-2020, 7-15-2021)
