1-13-1: PROTECTION TO LOCAL GOVERNMENTAL OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES AGAINST REPRISAL AND RETALIATION:
The public policy of Elko County is that an officer or an employee of Elko County is encouraged to disclose, to the extent not expressly prohibited by law, improper governmental action, and it is the intent of the Elko County Board of Commissioners to protect the rights of Elko County officers and employees who make a disclosure of improper governmental actions. (Ord. 05-2020, 7-15-2021)
