§ 32.01 REQUIREMENTS FOR APPOINTIVE POSITIONS.
   All appointive officers of the city to be appointed by the Council pursuant to the Charter, including the Chief of Police, the City Attorney, the Superintendent of Streets, the Commissioner of Waterworks, the City Collector and Treasurer, the City Clerk, the City Engineer and other permanent officers appointed in the city by the Council, shall be elected by the Council.
