§ 93.027 PERMITS.
   (A)   Every business or user of a building or structure required to obtain a mandatory permit under the North Carolina Fire Prevention Code must obtain such permit no later than 30 days after notification by the Fire Chief or their designee. The Fire Chief or their designee shall issue all applicable permits to business which require such permits under the North Carolina Fire Prevention Code upon determining the permit application meets applicable requirements of the North Carolina Fire Prevention Code.
   (B)   Construction permits will be valid for no more than six months after issuance. No work authorized by an expired permit may be performed until a new permit has been issued.
   (C)   Permit fees will be charged to the applicant in accordance with the fee schedule adopted by the town.
