§ 72.25 TIME LIMITED PARKING BY ERECTING SIGNS; VIOLATIONS.
   (A)   When signs are erected on selected street blocks in the downtown business district giving notice of a time limit for parking on specified days during specified hours, it shall be a violation of this subchapter for a person to park a vehicle on the specified days, and during the specified hours, for longer than the time limit set forth on the signs which are erected designating a restricted parking area.
   (B)   The intent of this subchapter is to limit the parking of a vehicle in the entire restricted parking area for the designated time period. For example, an owner or operator of a motor vehicle cannot extend the total designated time limit by moving the vehicle from one parking space to another parking space in the restricted parking area. Nor can they move to a different block within the restricted area to reset the clock. Time notated for parking violations, is cumulative throughout the day in all areas where limited parking is specified.
   (C)   Downtown visitors may park during normal business hours in public parking lots, without time limits, during the day.
