The following definitions shall apply to this subchapter unless context indicates or requires a different meaning.
BLOCK. A portion of a street that is not intersected by another street or alley.
DOWNTOWN BUSINESS DISTRICT. The entire B-l business district as designated on the zoning map of the town and shall include all streets within this district.
PARK. Includes the act of parking a vehicle and allowing the vehicle to remain parked, and the act of failing to move such vehicle at the request of a police official.
RESTRICTED PARKING AREA. The blocks which are designated by signs where parking times are limited.
VEHICLE. Any motor vehicle as defined by the State of North Carolina including but not limited to cars, trucks, vans, buses, limousines, motorcycles, scooters, mopeds and other transportation devices.
