(A) The purpose of this subchapter is to provide the standard operating procedures to be used by the Town Board for the acceptance of names, selection and appointment of citizens interested in serving on advisory boards. This subchapter will serve as a guideline to the Town Board and the information contained herein will be utilized by all advisory boards in the creations and/or revisions of their bylaws. Advisory boards created by the Town Board may include language or procedures in addition to the standards established herein, as long as the language or procedure does not violate any state or federal law or conflict with the guidelines herein established.
(B) This subchapter was adopted on September 13, 2010.
