§ 112.02 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   CALENDAR YEAR. January 1 through December 31.
   DWELLING. Any building or portion thereof designed, arranged or used for living quarters, excluding motels, hotels or other structures designed for transient residence.
   GOODS. Merchandise for sale typically used in personal, household or family settings.
   PERMIT. A license issued by the town allowing a residential sale at a particular dwelling.
   RESIDENTIAL SALE. Sales of goods from a dwelling; and includes any offer to sell goods either at retail or at auction. RESIDENTIAL SALE includes the terms yard sale, garage sale, rummage sale or any other term to describe these type sales.
