All operators conducting aircraft, engine and accessory maintenance facilities shall provide:
(A) Sufficient hangar space to house any aircraft upon which the service is being performed:
(B) Suitable storage space for aircraft awaiting maintenance or delivery after repair and maintenance have been completed;
(C) Adequate shop space to house the equipment and adequate equipment and machine tools, jacks, lifts and testing equipment to perform maintenance as required for FAA certification and repair of parts not needing replacement on single engine land and light multi-engine land general aviation aircraft;
(D) At least one FAA-certified air frame and powerplant mechanic available during reasonable business hours;
(E) Facilities which are approved by DNR and EPA for washing and cleaning aircraft, aircraft engines and parts without allowing discharge of harmful chemicals into the environment;
(F) Screening from public view for all non-airworthy aircraft;
(G) Separately partitionable space with adequate exhaust fans and fire protection for touch-up spray painting, meeting all local, state and federal regulations, if this type work is performed. Repainting of entire aircraft shall require compliance with standards in Section XX entitled AIRCRAFT PAINTING;
(H) Appropriate plans, permits, insurance (as may be required by federal, state and local laws) regarding the handling and removal of hazardous materials;
(I) Appropriate insurance as outlined in § 92.21(F);
(J) Equipment to remove disabled aircraft from the runway; and
(K) Proper licensing and certification to complete annual inspections and other required inspections of single and light twin-engine land aircraft.
