(A) Unauthorized use prohibiting. It shall be unlawful for any person except a town officer or employee while performing his or her official duties to touch, tamper with or in any manner manipulate or turn the cutoffs on any water main forming a part of the town water system or to touch, tamper with or turn on the valve of any fire hydrant.
(B) Unlawful use of water. It shall be unlawful for any person except an officer or employee of the town while performing his or her official duties to release any water from or to take or carry any water from any fire hydrant.
(C) Adoption date. This section was adopted on December 5, 1966.
