(A) Each private water well and associated plumbing must be thoroughly and properly disinfected, in accordance with 312 I.A.C. 13-9-1, prior to any sampling and prior to placing the system into use or reuse.
(B) Any time a private water well seal is broken, any portion of a private water well is exposed to potential contamination such as flood conditions, or any private water well samples show evidence of bacterial contamination, the well and all associated plumbing shall be disinfected in accordance with 312 I.A.C. 13-9-1.
