§ 41.150 SERVICE OF PROCESS FEES.
   (A)   Pursuant to I.C. 33-37-5-15:
      (1)   The County Sheriff shall collect a service of process fee of $25 from a party requesting service of a writ, an order, a process, a notice, a tax warrant, or any other paper completed by the County Sheriff. This service of process fee will be collected only one time per case for the duration of the case; provided, however, the County Sheriff shall collect an additional service of process fee of $25 per case for any post-judgment service; and
      (2)   The County Sheriff shall collect from the person who files a civil action a service of process fee of $60, in addition to any other fee for service of process, if the person files a civil action outside Indiana and the County Sheriff is requested to perform a service of process associated with the civil action in Elkhart County.
   (B)   The service of process fees collected under this subchapter will be transferred to the County Auditor.
   (C)   The County Auditor shall deposit fees collected under this subchapter in the pension trust established by the County Merit Board under I.C. 36-8-10-12.
