A precious metal dealer located in the unincorporated area of the county must submit a registration to the County Sheriff one time every 12 months for each permanent place of business owned or leased by the precious metal dealer. A registration submitted to the County Sheriff must include the name of the precious metal dealer, the address of the permanent place of business, any other information required by the County Sheriff, and a registration fee of $50. However, if a precious metal dealer registers more than one permanent place of business with the County Sheriff, the precious metal dealer must pay a registration fee of $50 to register all of its permanent places of business in the county.
