(A) It shall be the duty of the person doing the work authorized by a permit to notify the Building Commissioner that such work is ready for inspection. It shall be the duty of the owner, contractor or person requesting any inspections required by this section to provide a safe and unobstructed access into the structure with no special arrangements or appointments required. No ramps or ladders shall he permitted; temporary steps at a minimum must be provided into a structure. No work shall be done on any part of a building or structure or other project beyond the point indicated in each successive inspection without first obtaining the approval of the Building Commissioner.
