The Board creates the Hospital Authority of the county (hereinafter designated the County Hospital Authority). The County Hospital Authority is a body corporate and politic for the purpose of financing, acquiring, constructing, equipping and leasing projects to participating hospitals located in the county or refunding outstanding indebtedness of participating hospitals located in the county.
