To accept the terms and provisions of this chapter and the franchise granted herein, the franchisee shall provide written notice of its intent to the franchising authority in the form. Upon franchisee providing its notice of intent to franchising authority, the franchise granted to franchisee pursuant to this chapter shall supersede and replace any existing separate and independent franchise agreement for cable services between franchising authority and franchisee.
