§ 110.103 TERMINATION OR AMENDMENT BY FRANCHISING AUTHORITY.
   The franchising authority may terminate or amend this chapter by a separate ordinance duly adopted in accordance with the applicable requirements of state law; provided, however, that any amendment or termination of this chapter shall not be effective for at least 36 months after the amendment or termination is adopted. Prior to the amendment or termination becoming effective, the franchisee may seek to negotiate a franchise agreement with the franchising authority separate and independent from this chapter in accordance with the applicable requirements of state and federal law.
