(A) The Park Board is hereby authorized to make assessments in accord with 28 C.F.R. § 35.137(b)(2) and to post notices prohibiting or restricting the operation of any “other power-driven mobility device,” as defined by 28 C.F.R. § 35.104, on specified trails or in other specified park areas based upon such assessments. Such posted notices shall cite safety concerns relating to the operator’s safety or the safety of park property.
(B) No person shall operate an “other power-driven mobility device,” as defined by 28 C.F.R. § 35.104, on any trail or in any other park area in violation of a posted notice prohibiting or restricting operation of such a device on such trail or in such area.
