§ 51.14 VARIANCES.

(A) Although the provisions of this chapter are to be followed with strict compliance, certain individual cases may justify the issuance of a variance while still allowing for consistent protection of ground water resources.

(B) All requests for variances shall be processed under the rules and regulations (§§ 51.30 through 51.35) adopted under and pursuant to this chapter. In no case, however, shall a variance be granted which will violate existing federal, state or local law or regulation.
